CBSE Class 12th date sheet released: Students unhappy with schedule, say it doesn't give them time to prepare

Many students are not happy with the date sheet released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for Class 12th.

Apart from the students, even some teachers and parents have expressed disappointment with the date sheet.

ISC, ICSE Board Exam 2018 date sheet may be released this week

NEW DELHI: The examination date sheet for Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) are likely to be released this week on the official website of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) - cisce.org.
The CISCE conducts ISC exam for Class 12 and ICSE exam for Class 10. As per the sources, the examinations are expected to start in the month of February. However, the date sheet has not been released yet.
The delay in the announcement of the date sheet of the board examinations of ISC and ICSE is likely due to the upcoming elections in the states of - Karnataka

CBSE shares declining figures of JEE-Mains registrations: Dip of 51,000 applicants from last year

There has again been a fall of applicants for the most sought-after JEE-Mains exam: this time, registrants are 51,000 lesser than last time's.According to figures shared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), close to 11.48 lakh students across the country have registered for the Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE-Mains) this year -- which is a drop of 51,000 compared to last year, when the total registrations stood at 11.99 lakh.

CBSE Class 10, Class 12 Board exam 2018: All about the passing criteria

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is about to release the date sheet of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2018. Students are waiting for the schedule to be announced soon as they need to prepare for their board exams.

Once the same will be released, all the candidates can check the same at cbse.nic.in

Usually students, who appear for their board exams, get worried about their results thereafter and about how much marks they need to pass in their board exams.

ASRB NET Notification On 25 January 2018

NEW DELHI:  Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will release the official notification for its National Eligibility Test (NET) on 25 January 2018. The board has made an announcement today that the NET will be held in in the last week of March/ first week of April 2018. The exam will be held at 23 centres nationwide. It will be an online exam: preliminary and main. Details of the examination along with preliminary and main exam syllabus will be declared on 25 January 2018. Candidates can check the details at asrb.org.in.

UPSEE 2018: Exam Date Postponed To April 29, Application To Begin Soon

NEW DELHI:  Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University, Uttar Pradesh has postponed the exam dates for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam UPSEE 2018. The exam will now be conducted in the last week of April and first week of May 2018. The exam was earlier scheduled two weeks prior to the current schedule, however dates have been postponed due to indispensable reasons. It is being speculated that the new schedue has been released keeping in mind the JEE Main 2018 exam which is scheduled for April 8, 2018.

The entrance exam for B.Tech. and other professional bachelor degree programs was earlier scheduled for Apri 15, 2018 but will now be conducted on April 29, 2018. The entrance exam for post-graduate courses was earlier

National Medical Commission Bill Sent To Parliamentary Standing Committee

NEW DELHI:  The much debated National Medical Commission Bill, 2017, which will replace the Medical Council of India (MCI) with a new body, was referred to the Parliamentary Standing Committee today. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar, who said the Bill was referred to the Standing Committee in the Lok Sabha, also requested the Chair to ask the panel to give its recommendation before the Budget session.The Bill proposes a body with government-nominated chairman and members, who will be selected by a committee under the Cabinet Secretary.

The NMC Bill also seeks to introduce a bridge course which will allow homeopathy doctors to practice allopathy. CBSE Concludes Application Process For JEE Main, Notification For NEET UG Expected Soon

NEW DELHI:  Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has wound up the application process for JEE Main 2018 and is expected to begin the application process for CBSE NEET UG 2018. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses in medicine or NEET UG is being conducted by CBSE since 2016.


NEET UG is conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India except for AIIMS and JIPMER, Puducherry.
